Stephen holds a Doctor of Law degree (JD) from DePaul University College of Law, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts, a Master of Science in Financial Services (MS) – advanced financial planning – from The American College, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Michigan State University, a Certificate in Accounting from the University of California, Berkeley, and is a registered Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Among other past professional experience, Stephen worked near Chicago, Illinois as one of five advisors managing nearly $1 billion in investment funds for individuals, businesses, and not-for-profits. In addition to his advisory role with clients, he also conducted employee investment education seminars for the State of Illinois retirement plan system.
Roger holds a Doctor of Law degree (JD) from Michigan State University College of Law. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Finance from Hillsdale College. Roger is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and holds a Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) designation from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He also holds a Michigan Real Estate Salesperson License.
Prior to forming the Siena family of financial services with Hicks, Roger was, among other professional experience, an associate with Maner Costerisan, CPA in Lansing, Michigan. He is very active in the Grand Ledge Rotary Club, including serving as the Club president in 2009-2010 and was named a Paul Harris Fellow. Roger currently serves on the Finance Committee of the Board of Directors of the Lansing Community College Foundation.
W. Joseph earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Western Michigan University with a major in accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and holds a Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) designation from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He also holds a Chartered Retirement Plan Specialist (CRPS®) designation from the College for Financial Planning.
Prior to joining Siena in 2011, W. Joseph spent 15 years as Chief Financial Officer and Shareholder at a successful logistics firm that specializes in rail transportation logistics. His professional career began with KPMG.
W. Joseph is passionate about community involvement. He has served as Treasurer and Finance Chair of the Ronald McDonald House of Mid-Michigan, the Board of Directors for the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce and the YMCA of Lansing.
Zachary earned a Bachelor of Arts in Finance, with a minor in Economics, from Michigan State University. Zachary is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) charterholder, and also holds a Michigan Real Estate Salesperson License. Alongside his role with Siena Wealth Advisors, Zachary is actively involved with Siena’s sister company, Siena Accounting, preparing taxes for individuals and small businesses. He also works extensively with Siena Retirement Services helping develop new and current employer-sponsored retirement plans.
Zachary is a member of the Economic Club Committee and serves as an Ambassador for the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce. He serves on the committee for Ronald Mcdonald House, helping organize and execute their Run for the House 5K Run/Walk and 10K Run.
Prior to joining Siena Wealth Advisors Zachary served as a Private Equity Intern for The Behring Group in Danville, California, heavily involved in their commercial redevelopment and valuations. Also, he was a Credit Intern for Greenstone Farm Credit in East Lansing, Michigan.
