Let’s be clear from the outset that we’d make a lot more money for ourselves if we sold annuities, yet, we avoid them. Instead, we believe in wealth management, not product sales. All too often we see self-described “money managers” or “retirement/financial planners” simply selling various products for a commission with little if any actual management or advice being provided, other than incidental advice.
